I’m happy for the win, but Vandy had 2 straight night games followed by the early game. They were gassed.

A&M was the clearly better team. Congrats on the win. We were simply tired.

Good luck today vs. Bama, B1995.

2 Dayton 56
1 Virginia Commonwealth 68

FINAL

No need to sweat an unlikely at-large inclusion, VCU outscores Dayton 38-20 in the second half and heads off to the Dance.

You know, the more I look at NC State's resume, the less I think they're deserving of an at-large. It looks VERY similar to UNC's resume, with a worse SOS.

I swear I have seen more guys step out of bounds with their heels catching passes the last few years than I ever used to before.

RE: It's Bubble Watch time
My final guess for last 4 in, first 4 out:

In: Arizona State, Nevada (there's always one surprise it seems), Rutgers, Mississippi State

Out: NC State, Clemson, Vandy, Wisconsin

The ACC as a whole is probably going to be vastly overseeded by the selection committee. Look at a team like Miami- Sagarin and Pomeroy say that they should be about a #9 seed, but most bracketologists have them as a #5 seed. Sagarin and Pomeroy say that UVA should be about a #8 seed, but they're probably going to get either a #3 or #4 seed.

Clemson or NC State making the tournament would be embarrassing, but it's hard to rule out the possibility.

I have just three ACC teams in my bracket, Duke, Virginia, and Miami.

Clemson's NET is 60 with 2 Quad 4 losses. Their non conference SOS is 334. There are only 363 Division 1 teams.

Pittsburgh's NET is 67 with a Quad 4 loss plus they lost at home to Clemson.

NC State's NET is 45 but they have just 1 Quad 1 win plus they are 0-3 vs. Clemson. Their non conference SOS is 244.
