He's so good, but it's like he's too cool at times. Even his pump fake, he seems to celebrate for a second that he fooled the defender and then loses the advantage he gained. Even when he plays great, I tend to feel like he could have done more.

To be a bit nitpicky, Nolley isn't even the best player on this team. Vik is our best player and our most important player.

Edit to add: I'd also take Tre Scott over Nolley, especially for this team that needs another interior presence.

If I've got first pick in open gym, I'm taking Nolley over either of those guys without giving it a second thought.

That's fair. Despite the much improved defense guarding athletic bigs has been a big problem for us. Memphis and UCFs guys killed us, so did Jerace Walker but I actually thought we defended him okay and he hit some tough ones. Our 4s just aren't great players, I think last night you saw Ody is more comfortable playing as the 5. Priority #1 for next year is a 4 who can guard stretch bigs.

I thought the team hung in well. Hit some big shots. Battled back. I was definitely frustrated that they kept jacking 3s at the end, but it was tough to get in on Tulane's D with no post presence.

Can we knock it off with the excuses???

We had a 7 (seven) point lead with 2:30 left in the game... without Lahkin in there.

I guess at that point the team looked around and discovered HOLY SH!T !!! LAHKIN'S GONE!!! I CAN NO LONGER GUARD MY MAN!!!

Come on, man.

UC was losing 18-14 and being outrebounded 12-9 when Lakhin went out. They took control of the game and stretched it to a 13 point lead without him.

They also gave up 55 points in the second half without him. Again, UC was shooting like 50% from 3 until the last couple of minutes of regulation. That's how they built a lead. They had few other options. Had DDJ made the shot at the buzzer, all the talk would be about what a gutty performance it was to win without Vik. Instead, it's knuckleheads acting like Wes can't coach.

I just want to see it.

And if losing one guy makes us give up 55 points in a half... 73 if you include OT... then that's pretty pathetic.

Just stopping in to say Wes is a clown. He's going to get thoroughly embarrassed next year.
