MyBB 2023 Basketball Pick Contest - Week 4 (Feb. 6-12)
Feb. 6:
Duke at Miami, 7pm (ESPN)
Texas at Kansas, 9pm (ESPN)

Feb. 7:
Marquette at Connecticut, 6:30pm (FS1)

Feb. 9:
Iowa at Indiana Women, 6:30pm (BTN)

Feb. 11:
Alabama at Auburn, 2pm (ESPN)
Clemson at North Carolina, 2pm (ESPN2)
Rutgers at Illinois, 2pm (FS1)
Duke at Virginia, 4pm (ESPN)
UCLA at Oregon, 10pm (ESPN)

Feb. 12
LSU at South Carolina Women, 2pm (ESPN)

We begin with an ACC doubleheader with Miami and Duke in the ACC, both coming off big Saturday wins and Texas, leaders of the Big 12, traveling to Lawrence to take on defending national champion Kansas.

On Tuesday, co Big East leader Marquette travels to Connecticut.

We have the first of two women's games this week with co Big Ten leaders Iowa and Indiana playing on Thursday.

It's a busy Saturday with five games, led by the Iron Bowl of men's basketball in the Plains. Alabama is currently undefeated in the SEC but faces its toughest test at their in state rival. Rutgers and Illinois face off in a key battle in the race for second place behind Purdue. Is Clemson for real? They've only won one time in Chapel Hill, they'll try to make it twice Saturday. Duke and Virginia meet. And if you're willing to stay up, I can see Oregon upsetting UCLA. But I'm guessing Walton's gonna do the game so have the mute button ready.

And on Sunday, South Carolina is still undefeated after escaping UConn today. So is LSU. LSU is playing as I speak and South Carolina plays a midweek game but we will likely have two undefeated teams playing next Sunday! Oh yeah, there's that other game next Sunday:) Dawn Staley was wearing an Eagles sweatshirt today. She has to wear something with the Eagles next week as well!

RE: 2023 Basketball Pick Contest - Week 4 (Feb. 6-12)
GoldenWarrior11: 8 (Miami, Kansas, Connecticut, Indiana Women, Alabama, North Carolina, Illinois, Virginia)
Schmolik: 8 (Miami, Kansas, Connecticut, Indiana Women, Alabama, North Carolina, Illinois, Virginia)

ChrisLords: 5 (Connecticut, Indiana Women, Alabama, Illinois, Virginia) - Picks made Tuesday, Monday picks don't count

Skyhawk: 3 (Kansas, Indiana Women, North Carolina)

UCLA at Oregon: Skyhawk, GoldenWarrior11, ChrisLords have UCLA, I have Oregon
LSU at South Carolina Women: GoldenWarrior11, ChrisLords, and I have South Carolina, Skyhawk has LSU.

Assuming no errors, the winner of UCLA-Oregon determines first place although GoldenWarrior11 will receive first place points win or lose. If South Carolina wins Sunday, the winner of UCLA-Oregon will have a perfect record this week:)

RE: 2023 Basketball Pick Contest - Week 4 (Feb. 6-12)
Final Standings:

GoldenWarrior11: TEN 04-bow (Miami, Kansas, Connecticut, Indiana Women, Alabama, North Carolina, Illinois, Virginia, UCLA, South Carolina Women)
Schmolik: 9 (Miami, Kansas, Connecticut, Indiana Women, Alabama, North Carolina, Illinois, Virginia, South Carolina Women)
ChrisLords: 7 (Connecticut, Indiana Women, Alabama, Illinois, Virginia, UCLA, South Carolina Women) - Picks made Tuesday, Monday picks don't count

Skyhawk: 4 (Kansas, Indiana Women, North Carolina, UCLA)

Congratulations to GoldenWarrior11, not only for winning but for a perfect 10 for 10! You get 3 points instead of 2 for the perfect week! I don't keep as good statistics for basketball pick contests as I do football but I believe this is the first perfect week in basketball pick contest history. I believe we've only had two in the football pick contest.

Season contest standings:

GoldenWarrior11: 29
Schmolik: 28
Skyhawk: 21
ChrisLords: 16
ShannonPanther: 5
RutgersMike: 5
