Those last 40 seconds of the quarter might be the perfect encapsulation of our season. Good trap forces a turnover up 3, Gooden has tunnel vision in transition and doesn't realize there's a trailing defender, we turn it back over and then nobody stops the handler in transition leading to an easy layup, and then we don't get a shot off to end the quarter. Opportunity to stretch the lead, instead it's a 1-point game.

I was wrong. Just impossible for this team to get separation. Go up a few and then all of a sudden can't execute on offense. But now that UNT has taken the lead, we'll magically figure it out again.

I suspect these cruise-control-style passes connect reliably in practice. Against an alert defense? Not so much. Grrr.

Hard to call whatever the Owls are doing an offense. Really hard to watch.

Again, the defining characteristic of this team might be how many small things we do poorly. Ennis tries to trap on the inbounds despite there only being 3 seconds left. Lets an extra second run off the clock. Means that we'll only have 1 second left, down 3, to tie the game instead of 2.
