Southern Miss? They are literally a Sun Belt school who did worse during realignment than most. I would think Ball State could do better than a USM deputy AD.... This seems like a disappointing hire.

Yeah it's a real dumpster fire down there in Hattiesburg.

I’m not saying that USM deserves to be treated like chopped liver, but pointing to a bowl win against 5-7 Rice as proof everything is fine probably isn’t the best example you could’ve come up with.
