What the hell has happened to Jeff Jones? He looks like he weighs 300 pounds. Rather surprising to see. I still remember him as a player at UVA. Of course, I go 245 so who am I to talk!

I was surprised too. Like you said, I can stand to lose some weight myself. I'm too lazy to look it up....how long has he been the ODU coach?

My thoughts exactly, when he first popped onscreen I thought WTF is that sitting next to Harry Potter!?!

Okay, looked it up. Wow! Had no idea he has been there since 2013. I guess I wasn't paying attention to ODU - until now.

I know he’s had two bouts with prostate cancer. Is it related?

Perhaps is on or has been on prednisone, sorry to see that.

Hope he has won that battle.

I was filling my wife in on Jeff Jones’ , ahem, storied coaching career. Then I pointed him out and said, “wow, he looks like Jeff Jones ate Jeff Jones.” But, like many of us, I don’t have too much room to talk. And I would trade bank accounts with him probably too.

Well, what you’re saying is true, although none of us can criticize. He looks like an overweight hippo. He looks unhealthy.

He is decidedly unhealthy, cancer.

A good friend is a cousin of his wife and we have gone to some Tic games when they play each other. It's been at least 5 years now (I guess, pre Rona anyway) he's been battling.

Having had family go through this the weight gain and lack of real ability to get up and work it off is very common. I would guess prednisone as well.

Having to take prednisone sucks - it messes with all sorts of stuff. I also wish for the best possible outcome for him and his family.

I also concur with the crowd - I don't have room to talk about weight or physical appearance... like, don't have physical room because I am fat as hell... 255 British Pounds Ova Hea and Ugly As Sin to boot.
