RE: Meanwhile in Iran...
Fundamentalist Bible believing Christians have been the the heart and backbone of this country for 250 years yet we have never sought to create this "theocracy" the bigoted leftist are now routinely attacking us over. Its the fundamentalist Bible believing Christians who created and believed most in a nation based on freedom of religion, not state religions of any kind.

The people who make this attack not only expose the massive bigotry that lies in their own hearts against people like us, they expose the massive level of total ignorance of the Bible and the most basic tenants of Christianity. There is no such thing as a state enforced Christianity, that is literally 180 degrees opposite of what salvation is and what the NT teaches. The 2 things are totally incompatible on any level. Furthermore NOTHING in the NT even remotely teaches setting up Christian theocracies or Christians taking over governments and forcing our religion on others.

Even the people making this accusation know this is an obvious lie and there is no movement of any kind in this county to set up a Christian theocracy, nor has there ever been or will there ever be. Its totally absurd and they know it just as well as everyone else does.

As I have stated in other threads, this boils down to one simple fact and agenda. The left wants to be able to vote their values but does not want Christians to be able to vote based on their values. The left see's voting for their values as righteous and their right, but Christians voting their values as evil and wrong.

They want to shame and attack Christians to keep them from voting for their values, but they want to be able to vote their values and enforce their values on all of us. They are hypocrites and liars of the highest order.

You are way off on that take. They think no one is coming across the border. "There is no border crises".

They probably think there IS a border too.

Well there certainly will be in the coming Kingdom age when Christ returns.

We will have a full 1000 years of Christ being the sole King and Lord of the whole earth.

It'll be interesting to see the leftists on this forum defend this since the believe the lie that Islam is a religio of peace while in the same breath accusing Christian conservatives of wanting to establish a theocracy in America.

Have you ever known any southern baptists? They have beliefs that aren't a whole lot different when it comes to dancing, singing, and other "impure" actions.
That's a pretty broad brush. Could have said the same thing about Catholics in the 60s. Southern Baptists are significant numbers around here. Haven't come across any that meet this description since the 80s... maybe early 90s. Not to say that culture couldn't still be prevalent in other parts of the South.

-Islam is a threat to America.
-How?
-9/11.
-How is that a threat to America?
-People died.
-People die all the time from violent extremism e.g. Charlottesville, Jan 6th, Anti-abortion violence. Are these a threat to America?
-No, Islam is.
-But people died here too
-Only islam counts

Did I get it right? And from the above, you somehow manage to think I'm ok with 9/11?

No, you didn't get any of it right. But you knew that.

Then explain it for me. Real simple like.

How is Islam a threat to America that sets it apart from Christianity?

And you still know.

Got it, so you feel that Islam is a threat, but you can't explain why.

I'll take a shot at it if you don't mind:

1. You incorrectly assume that America is synonymous with Christianity. Any threat to Christianity is therefore a threat to America.
2. You misunderstand what the word "Threat" means
3. It doesn't matter that 9/11 was committed by a Terrorist organization based in Pakistan, and that the OP uses Iran as an example because in your mind Iran = Pakistan = Islam = Brown People. It's all the same.

Not can’t. Won’t. For you anyway. You’ve proven to be a troll. And you’re trolling now.

I understand perfectly why it’s a threat and you do too.

You’re as dishonest as Tom. Congratulations.

And you got it all wrong again, but you know.

But we do know that Islamic countries suppress women, throw gay people from rooftops, and have sketchy human rights histories.

But go on thinking the January 6th "riot" - which could have been squashed by police in minutes if any government officials were actually in danger - was actually ever any kind of threat to anything other than furniture.

But we are ok with all of that, or we wouldn’t be close ally’s with so many Middle Eastern countries. So what is the REAL issue with Iran? Nothing bad we say about Iran or Islam is unique to them.

This is a valid question.

But the answer is easy.

The real issue with Iran is that they have declared the USA to be an enemy. The Saudis have declared the USA to be a close partner.

The leaders in charge of one of them (Iran) attack US interests and allies, while the leaders in charge of the other (Saudi) welcome US investments, actively hunt down anti-American terrorists in their midst, and refrain from attacking other US allies (like Israel).

That's a huge difference.

And all of those are valid Empire reasons to have issues with Iran. We should stick to that, because the world laughs at our human rights record. We keep company with anyone who serves us. The absolute worst of the worst. And everyone knows it. Anyone who doesn’t serve us is an enemy. End of story. We still think we’re fooling everyone apparently.
