ARKANSAS-LITTLE ROCK
Opening line: SEMO -8 1/2 total: 155

Little Rock coming off of their first conference road win at a good Tenn. Tech team. In Conference games only they are last in defensive efficiency. We won the first meeting this year in Little Rock 74-68.

I think we are starting to turn things around. Our last 3 games have been a pretty easy win against Tennessee State (who blew us out at their place), a down to the wire loss at Morehead State, and then the win at Tennessee Tech. Should be a good game tomorrow night. Hope we can start a "friendly" rivalry being only 4 hours apart.

Only a little better in the second half, but lucky for you we don't know how to guard the 3 point line. Other than the refs, ruining the flow of the game for both teams, it was a good game and hopefully starts a good rivalry.

How the hell have you guys only won 3 conference games. That was a lot better team than the one we played in Little Rock. Your right about the refs. They killed it for both teams.

We simply don't know how to finish. Every game has been close except when we were blown out at Tennessee State. We then beat them easily at home. I'm not sure if we will figure it out or not. Over the years we have had teams that I just "knew" we would pull out the win if it was close in the last couple of minutes. This season I just "know" we are going to lose. It becomes a bad habit and gets in the players' heads. Even tonight, after killing it at the free throw line all game, we missed 4 in a row in the last minute. At this point, I just want to make the tournament since I know we can beat anyone in the league on a given night. Not saying we can win 4 in a row, but we could make it interesting and crazier things have happened.

RE: ARKANSAS-LITTLE ROCK
Impressed by the improvement of UALR. I actually thought they would have been near the top of the conference when the season started. Good job by SEMO in the second half to rally. Russell is such a game changer from all facets on the court. Even scoring 37 pts, he still distributes the ball well and gets everyone involved. Impressed by the overall improvement of Smart. Only scored 2 pts., but his hustle, defense and rebounding is noticeably better and seems more confident. Onto Tech who I'm sure are looking to avenge the 2OT loss.

So after losing to you guys, 99-98, we come home and lose to SIU-E 84-81 when they hit a 60 foot shot at the buzzer. It's just that kind of year and it's getting kind of late to change our fortunes.
