Coach's show
Darrell was extremely upbeat about his team on last night's show. I was glad to hear it but, of course, that's what all coaches (except maybe Wimp Sanderson) always say. I can't argue with his points that we have been "in" every conference game (except Tenn State and we got payback at home) and we are playing better.
With almost half the conference season to, the proof will be in the pudding.

Unfortunately, not one word was said about the players who didn't play last game: Chris Walker, Ante Beljan, or Jovan Stulic. Will Stulic ever play again? Dp we expect Walker to be back? Why didn't we see Beljan who has been showing quite a bit of potential in recent games? These are things LR fans would like to know and, to me, is the purpose of a coach's show. Can't really blame Darrell. Trey Schaap needs to ask the questions.

RE: Coach's show
It is a coaches show produced by the athletic department. I am sure Trey is told what questions to not ask.

Maybe Trey can ask DW why his win loss record sucks so much. The guy acts like he is above reproach. If he was 20 games over five hundred since being here maybe I would give him some latitude....

I was wondering the same thing. But I don't see why a coach would be hesitant to provide information about injuries. I understand he can only tell us what he knows, based on what he has been told by doctors/trainers. But if Stulic is out for the year, why can't fans be told? If Walker is out for awhile or will be back next game, why not let us know? Not discussing disciplinary issues, publicly, is another matter. But, I'd like to know if Ante is hurt or if it was a "coach's decision" not to play him.
