You simply need to understand what's important in our lives. It's not Huskie basketball or football. It's transportation - Metra and the DeKalb airport - and Chicago State football. And, anytime we can bring politics into the transportation and Chicago State discussions, it's all the better.

Mods need to move these topics up to important threads. And maybe eliminate Civility
as that doesn't always seem to be working.

Political class? How about anyone trying to keep their job. You ever talk to a salesman or really anyone at work? Anybody looking to succeed and not just get by day-to-day is tootin their own horn nonstop. People aren't hiring the guy who isn't talking themselves up.

A lot of alumni gather here and want to talk about what’s going on dekalb. There’s not much else to talk about when the athletic programs are poo.
