While the nonconference portions of the schedules to be released Monday are often set years if not decades in advance, the ACC has asked schools to schedule most, if not all, of their future nonconference road games at either Power 5 teams or Army.

Ok we've gone back and forth speculating on whether
--the ACC sees Army differently than Navy or Air Force
--it wasn't mentioned but games @ NAvy or @ Colorado Springs would be okay
--there are various acceptable reasons to schedule a road game @ a G5, but you should have some kind of a reason.

I realized / remembered something really important. Army is the only Service Academy that has the ability to schedule ACC teams, really.

Navy has 8 conference games, Army, Air Force and Notre Dame locked in. That leaves one spot, which they usually use for their FCS game.

Air Force has 8 conference games, Army and Navy locked in. That leaves two spots, and if they schedule a P5 it's likely to be a PAC team, or maybe a Texas team.

Meanwhile in the last 10 years, Wake Forest has played @ Army three times, Duke played there twice.
