Odd thinking in Arkansas, at least as far as Football
Read an article today on The Densider that seemed to indicate their problems in athletics was a lack of money relative to other SBC schools, and after giving thanks for ULM, told their readers they needed to give more and complain less.
I really like the give more and complain less recommendation for any fan base.
Other than their non-revenue sports - which for them IMO is everything but men's basketball and football, not sure I agree about the money part. Not in basketball, and certainly not when it comes to football.
When you have one of your conferences top rated rosters, add one of the top classes EVERY year, have facilities that are compared to P5's by recruits, can hire a proven winner as a HC, you DON'T have a problem with money.
If you don't have these things you might, and might down the road, but not now.
Again I know we are dealing with the Rodney Dangerfields of college football but it still gets gets old.

Had to clean up that post a little. While I disagree about the money, the good news was Arkstfan posted the article I referred to. He had not been posting much so glad he explained why. He is value-added as far as A-State athletics.
Noticed their programs #1 hater is having to work overtime to control the narrative in the thread . He works 24/7 injecting negativity into every thread, and while posters call him out from time to time , he has basically taken over that site.

Apologize for bringing up that site, and will not do it again, but was hoping for, and rather expecting an update on their efforts to land a transfer QB. I think they have at least one but wanted to see if Jeff Reed confirmed.
I subscribe to 247, but going forward I'm going with ON3Sports, which seems to be more recruiting focused.

Glad Butch mentioned they have "great resources", in the video discussing why they were able to put together another solid class.
Not surprising that there was a flurry of negativity on their main message board heading into signing day and did notice a poster pointed out on one of the more ridiculous threads it probably was orchestrated to hurt recruiting. That prompted their #1 orchestrator of hate to jump in fast and say probably not.
Any coach worth his salt will use anything that is to his advantage in recruiting and a visit to The Den by a prospect will always work to the advantage of A-States' opponents, so expect the same to happen again when the Portal opens up, and headed up by their programs #1 hater, on their #1 hate site.
