Is it me or has Molson become a complete liability as of late? He doesn’t seem like a team player (nor does anyone else most of the time in this offense) but it also seems like his FG percentage has been pretty awful lately

If this team could ever learn to value the ball better we could be pretty damn good.

Finally some unselfish basketball.

The coach needs to tell these guys that if they take a shot without at least 1 pass on an offensive set then they will be benched. It’s unreal

Definitely seems like Tak has hit a bit of a slump. At least it's while Noah and Vado have pretty well broken out of theirs.

Very solid crowd today! Not nearly as loud as Thursday though, not sure why but the difference in the non-pep band end student section is night and day. Usually that side is great and the pep band side not quite so much.

I don't know why Molson takes so many off-dribble threes, sometimes from deep too. He's not a good three point shooter and he does it with 20 seconds left on the shot clock..

Career 29% shooter from three. 29% this year as well. He's attempted 61 threes. Edwards has made 2 more with 16 less attempts. Guys are pushing way too hard to be "the guy" when I don't think any of our guys on this team (or most guys at our level of midmajor) can be "the guy" offensively. When you don't have a Gordon Hayward or Fred van Fleet, you take the committee approach of good players with a sound offense that Loyola Chicago used.

Need to press the whole second half on made buckets. These guys played 2 OT’s the other day with 7 guys and we should have a huge advantage.

Edward a is our best player and it isn’t even close.

We don’t take good shots and we make poor passing decisions. Bull in a china shop offense. We play good defense so I agree on the press, go all out in the second half.

Too close and too slow to feel good after the first half. Dukes are playing down to the tempo of their opponent. Need to win somehow even if stuck in a slow pace game.

I sure hope so. On the AUBC tour last year and then another time I happened to bump in to him, honestly he's the top guy that really stood out as one of those guys that's alllllllllll about JMU so that's another reason he's always been a favorite of mine. Hopefully also means we don't have anything to worry about, but of course you never know.

Pulled some interesting stats here, Edwards is really becoming a guy to start leaning into in conference play. The lengths he's gone to improve his scoring on all fronts is very impressive.

Yes he can do good things but he often tries to do too much. If he reins himself in he could be a really good player. I will say that he’s actually been moving the ball really well this half.
