Should be a victory. EIU is not a high scoring team, but SEMO's defense makes teams look better on the offensive side. Keep the momentum going from the last two games and keep the interest up in the region. Pretty pleased they are starting to get more write ups in the Missourian and the attendance is slowly growing.

SEMO Women down 31-30 at half to EIU who is 17-3 (9-0). This would be a huge win if they pulled this one out.

The girls almost pulled it off...I think they need to work on adjusting their offense to use more of the clock each possession. Work it it around a bit instead of early passes into the paint. EIU's size was hard for them to work around. And, good on EIU... they're every bit of that 18-3 record.

Doesn't it seem like Harris gets rattled too easily?

He's a turnover machine.

SEMO desperately needs a backup PG. Harris doesn't have that ability. Fortunately, Russell hasn't had too many games in conference play with foul trouble except today's game. We were spoiled last year having both DQ and Russell. DQ is Gardner Webb's leading scorer. Can Ersher fill that role next year? That being said, 3 straight conference road game victories....hasn't happened since 12-13 season. Hoping for a good crowd thursday vs UALR

BJ Ward will fill that role next year. He will be a good OVC player, not Phillip Russell good, but Ward is a pretty good get for Semo.

I am sure guys will transfer and we will bring in some D1/JUCO transfers. I wouldn't be surprised if Russell tries to move up after this year

Did they just change the rule to where you have to sit out a year if you transfer and you have already transferred before? I thought I heard you only will get one transfer from here on out without sitting unless it is a grad transfer situation or they rule that you had a physical injury or a mental health reason to transfer.

You only get one free transfer. If you transfer again, you have to sit out a year unless special circumstances. So I disagree with the previous post about PR or others leaving. On top of that, Korn does a good job of utilizing his bench and players getting court time. I don't see a mass exodus, especially if the team continues winning.

Thank god for that rule. Thanks!

I believe Ward will be an all-conference player at some point in his career. And don't sleep on Elkamil, he's good.
