So,we lose by one point to State College, and at Tadpad at that. Fortunately, it isn't football. The loss is unfortunate, but so what. I think it's clear that we don't have the b'ball team we had last year, but this is no great loss.

So, how many days is it before we kick it off again? That's what counts.

It was an exciting (ugly often) game which I just knew the Rebs pulled off. Rod's fellas had the chance to run away with it by how MSU was turning it over and bricking easy shots. But something just didn't click.

Effort aside, I hate to see a great game concluded by some disrespectful audience members pelting the court with litter. I don't care whose fans threw it. . . That is unacceptable in my book.

About ten seconds after the game ended, a few people from the section behind the Rod Squad and under where the majority of MSU fans sat threw their drinks and whatnot onto the court. It was only about five or six people at most but still that isn't the way to act.

Regardless of a couple of ruffians' behavior. . .

I saw the single most beautiful girl these eyes have ever ventured upon tonight at the game. All I can say is ". . . . ." [insert Charlie Brown ear-to-ear grin] :red:

1. I hate to lose even a checkers match to M-State.
2. I think they ought to be watching for the morons (from Ole Miss or anywhere else) that throw foreign (or American) 03-wink objects on the court, field, etc. and arrest their stupid as$. They were probably kids that were never punished by their parents - they always got their way by throwing a tantrum.
3. Witty, tell me "she" (the beautiful babe) was an Ole Miss student. 04-bow

Yeah, that really pi$$ed me off when they did that. The sad part is that all of the Bullpuppy fans will talk about how ALL Ole Miss fans have no class because of it now. It was maybe 5 or 6 people who did it, but the actions of a few can taint the image of many.

Personally, I don't care if you are a Rebel fan or not, if you are caught doing something stupid like that, you should lose your season ticket priviledges and be banned from the arena. Just a thought. I sure hope some of the boneheaded morons who threw stuff onto the court read this too.

I'm glad to hear that. I figured we would win the Parade of Beauties, even if we lost the game.

I think my favorite 'OM co-ed memory' is the sight of Celeste Harden in her Rebel majorette uniform, around 70-71! Oh my goodness!

I was in school at the time but I don't particularly remember this young lady. I may have been distracted by the baby-doll sitting next to me at every game.
