Jimmie vs Max????
Anybody else out there hoping to see both Jimmie Ward and Max Scharping in the Super Bowl?

I know we've had alum that have played in the Super Bowl, but does anyone know if we have ever had multiple players in the game?

Have we ever had players on opposite teams in the Super Bowl?

In watching the little introductions the networks do as they are showing the offense or defense for the teams Max did say "NIU" during his introduction and Jimmie said something way off the wall. I cannot remember the exact thing he said but it certainly wasn't "NIU", "Northern Illinois" or even his high school or home town. It was something like "Jimmie Ward, Chilltown"---I know it wasn't exactly that, but somewhere along those lines.

You might find answers from this list. I know Clarence Vaughn was the first to get a ring.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a couple of classes with Clarence, he seemed like a really good guy.

I like to think that Clarence was the start of the modern DB that you see today. Over 6' and over 210 lbs. Most DB's back then were 5'9" and 175 lbs.

Clarence Vaughn actually has two Super Bowl rings from his time with the Redskins.
