Ryan Silverfield was kept as the coach because the AD believes that he will succeed much better than the last two years and it would be foolish to start over right now.

The reasons are not:

1) the school does not have the money

2) the school is fine with 6-6 record

3) Ryan is good at graduating players and PR

He is here still because a guy who played college football and is makeingba career out of athletic administration believes strongly enough that Silverfield will a win big coach next year and for the foreseeable future - The AD has staked his job and career on his belief that Silverfield will constantly compete for conference titles and win some conference championships soon

Of course he believes strongly that RS will win big next year----------with the schedule the equivalent of playing Walnut/Middleton/Bolivar etc etc --how could he not

According to Simple Jack, our OOC basketball schedule sucks. Of course, literally every poster except him, knows that it is our toughest OOC schedule since 2008.

This year-----------------------------we play a de facto road game---------------------against Missouri, Boise and NY6 entrant, Tulane at home. Last year, UCF was 9-5, and Houston was 8-5, and we didn't play Cincinnati. Maybe in future years-------------------------the schedule won't be as good, but for next year--------------------at least it will be fine.

Amazing how someone could have such bottom of the barrel personal standards-------------------and hold everyone else to next to-----------------------impossible standards---------------------you couldn't make this up----------------
