This weekend the Birmingham Stallions are, again, giving away free shirts representing three local college teams' colors. UAB's color (green) is one of the three shirts and it's a easy guess for the other two schools.

They may run out of the crimson one before the game starts

The Stallions will be facing Memphis this Saturday

Not hard at all with the banner ads popping up everywhere.

I was able to get a green shirt early. Saw lots of people walking around with them so they were all taken. A lot of people were getting the crimson one because it's the Stallions colors too. There were lots of blue shirts remaining for the fans entering the gates closer to the game.

Hard to win with over 100 yards in penalties to none for Houston. Reminded of a few UAB games that I have seen.

Not very good this yr on D w/ little run game looks like typical Holtz coaching good yr followed by a couple of down yrs like he did at LaT

The injuries have hurt them. The QB is hot or cold. He makes some great plays and some awful ones. They need to throw more to Watkins and Mitchell.

I wonder if JJ Nelson and Jordan Howard are in shape and would want to play?

Doesn't help when the Stallions keep ignoring the UAB fan base. They are 75% geared to Bama in all they do
