Yea, they think that will get the fans and it isn't working. I'm not so sure it will work targeting us. I think with this reincarnation it will have to take time and develop a fan base. They should target all the "local" college fan bases and not just Tuscaloosa. In the end it will take time. A large part of the skeptics will tell you it won't last more than another season or two so why bother? Once folks can see it has longevity folks will come around. There is also a lot they could do tweaking promotions and the game times have been less than stellar for us. Would love to see more night games and even a Monday night game. I enjoy the games and accept it for what it is.

I think that the game times are killing the attendance. The heat was brutal last Saturday. Personally, I haven’t seen where they have been catering to a particular fan base.
