ACU holds off a late charge in what was mostly a back-and-forth physical battle all night between us and UT:81-76. We still lack a consistency this season. Strange that we barely tried any 3s all night and ended up 0-6 from beyond the arch. That just isn't ACU basketball at all. At least we were hitting our FTs better. I can't figure us out for the life of me this year. This was the first time I saw a mop being hauled out to clean up chunks from a player. I give it to UT for giving it everything they had, literally.

GCU dared to schedule its trip to Wisdom Gym on Rodeo Night.

ACU got back on track with the dub over Utah Tech.

ACU's best player could me Immanuel Allen and he has missed the last two games due to injury. We lost one by two points and won the other. We need "Manny" back in the lineup. He is very strong on both O and D and rebounds better than his height, just an all around most-talented player.

Congrats to all 4 on their respective wins. I am surprised we beat GCU by the margin that we did, but shocked that RGV beat Cal Baptist at all, way to go RGV! Both great wins! Not surprised at SFA beating SU as they Redhawks are not the dominant team they think they are. ACU I expected to beat UT (Utah Tech...but I actually had them in my bracket to beat U Texas as well!) but I knew U Tech would put up a good fight as they are a scrappy team. Looking forward to Wed. slate.

We were out our best player Hicks for awhile and it showed on the floor. In a conference like ours where it is very competitive top to bottom, even being without one starter can make a huge difference.

Not sure if we will see Allen on Wed. or not. Hopefully we continue to see Bettiol with more minutes. We will need his inside presence.

With the weather issues here in the DFW Metroplex, Wednesday’s game with UTA could be iffy. It will not surprise me if the game is moved to Thursday.

I think all the alerts expire at noon on Wed. so it should not have in bearing on evening games.
