We are 1-2 in Q1.
Who are the 3 losses you are talking about?

Again, the common factor would be blowout wins.

We have a pretty good chance of taking Houston at the Forum, especially if we get some players back.

Jayden is back, will get more minutes as he gets into game shape.
Malcolm should be back soon.Same goes for him. They need to get about 20 minutes a game from him.

I'm hoping Penny gives Jayden's spot to Kennedy.

He's earned it.

Unless it's part of an overall strategy I'm confused about why Jayden is a starter. Don't get me wrong, I love the kid, I think he's shown the most improvement in his time here of anyone else and I don't think he hurts us any but I don't see why he starts. Maybe because the other personnel were new?

Edit: On a side note, did anyone else think he looked a lot quicker against Cindy than before he went out with the injury?

Correct me if I’m wrong but Tulane is our worst loss? The only loss that’s not Top 100?

That is correct.

It is also presently a Quad 2 loss which mitigates Tiger NET damage.

Again, the common factor would be blowout wins.

And one less defeat....

The NET formula and weights assigned to each factor is a black box unchallenged by a credulous media. However, "Net Efficiency" component is known and can be calculated. Blowouts tend to improve net efficiency.

https://www.ncaa.com/news/basketball-men...-explained

An aside: Memphis' NET improved by one spot (from 37 to 36) despite not playing. From what I can see, the reasons pertain to defeats by Kent St and NC St who were ahead of us. The lopsided losses by the Bear Sharks and Vandy did not harm much - a benefit of us playing schools benefiting from the halo effect of power conference membership.

EDIT: NC State did not lose. They had a narrow win over ND.

So the one additional Q2 loss accounted for a difference of 31 in the ranking compared to the huge disparity in the number of blowout wins? I'm not convinced the NCAA caps margin of victory in spite of what they've claimed.

Your skepticism is justified, IMO, until the NCAA opens the box for all to see.

He didn't start @ Cincy. Maybe Penny trusts Keonte/Elijah enough now to start one in Jayden's place - since they have more upside.
