Toledo is 4-2 in the MAC and 13-6 overall and on a 3 game winning steak after beating Buffalo on the road. Their starting lineup may look like this:

First option off the bench looks like Ra'Heim Moss 6'4 So.

Miami is 1-5 in conference and 7-12 overall and on a 3 game losing streak under their first year coach. They most recently lost on the road to Bowling Green. Starting lineups may look like this:

Mekhi Lairy 5'8 GR. 17. 5ppg
Anderson Mirambeaux 6'8 Sr. 13 ppg
Ryan Mabrey 6'5 Fr. 9 ppg
Morgan Safford 6'5 Jr. 15 ppg

Hey I made 95% of the home men's games that are on weekends this year and I will keep attending them-weather permitting.

As for this, yes just as I follow recruiting I will also keep posting these previews as a service to EMU fans.

I've been committed to EMU football all those decades of going nowhere and now its improved. Hopefully men's basketball will as well.

With all this talk about the dismal state of EMU basketball, hoping they go and pull off a shocker at Toledo tonight. This team needs something good to happen. Certainly not expecting it though. But at times, EMU can really rattle Toledo, and vice versa. So crazier things have happen…

So I just placed a bet based on your point spread, but I got 21 points instead. That is a crazy line. EMU plays a little better/harder based on the competition, so I am expecting them to cover. Not necessarily win. But will be nice.

Doubt Bates will see single coverage the rest of the season.

Sports can be crazy. We are watching it happen live.This is why we play the games. Bates is having an amazing night on national TV. Man if he put it together like this the rest of the year....by the way the NBA scouts are watching. Beating Toledo would be a way to move the needle the second half of conference play.
