Really excited for today’s hoops game versus Troy at home. This JMU basketball team has been playing well, especially as the interior play has developed in the early season.

How will the team regroup after dropping a tough home game to Georgia Southern? Troy is the reigning Sun Belt basketball champion. Promises to be a good game.

Getting Germond was HUGE for us. She’s scrappy and skilled.

King-Hawea comes in for an immediate boost.

Enjoying this battle for 1st. Troy up 19-17 end of Q1.

Hoping McDaniel’s explosion vs Georgia Southern is a sign of more consistent output from her. We have a lot of weapons. Need consistency.

Peyton and Kiki following up last game with another similar showing for each.

Team is really hanging tough with a good Troy team. Up 37-34 with a minute left in the first half.

Kiki hits one of two free throws to make it 38-34.

And the Dukes immediately force a turnover trapping the Troy player and making them travel.

Kiki makes an acrobatic layup for a 40-34 lead.
