Fredo Sad: Disgraced Chris Cuomo Says 'I'll Never Be What I Was' at CNN

Fallen CNN anchor Chris Cuomo claimed in a recent interview he’s moved on from The Most Trusted Name in News [sarc], but spent most of his time whining about how he’ll never be what he was, proving Fredo’s still totally clueless about what he really was — and always will be.
Cuomo — who was fired in December 2021 for violating CNN’s “journalistic ethics” [rolling-eyes emoji] for helping his equally-disgraced brother and former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo deal with (lie about) sexual harassment charges — sat down for a 90-minute interview with former New York Times writer Charlie LeDuff and his co-host of “The No BS New Hour” podcast, Karen Dumas.
Incidentally, after he was fired, Cuomo claimed CNN still owed him $15 million, but in addition, he demanded another $110 million for damages, claiming CNN had damaged his “reputation and credibility” [ROFL emoji] Fredo, that ship sailed long ago — if it was ever in port in the first place.
Never short on hubris, Cuomo brazenly declared: “I was number one on the most powerful media platform in the world.”
Okay, I’m going to stop you right there, Fredo. While you might have been number one, suggesting embattled CNN was “the most powerful media platform in the world” was and remains beyond delusional.
That Cuomo’s comments were as pitiful as they were provided ample proof that this guy still lives as King of Planet Cuomo and he always will. Here’s Fredo in all of his whiny pity-party glory, as reported by the New York Post:
He whined about not being “allowed to say goodbye to [my show’s team], an office I was never allowed to clear out,” and complained that his office supplies were sent to him “in boxes with half my s**t broken.”
So what about Fredo’s new show, aptly named “CUOMO,” which airs weeknights at 8 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. CT on the start-up cable channel NewsNation? How does Chrissy feel about it? Any guesses?
I’ll never be number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 on some bulls–t media power list. I’m okay with that. I am emotionally and psychologically beat up and changed by what I went through. My show is different because I am different; not that I was in some lefty silo.
Memo to Cuomo: Of course, you were “in some lefty silo” on CNN. Dude, you were the hood ornament of The Most Trust Name in News.
Finally — and this is almost my favorite part — Cuomo even whined about how unfairly he was treated by the media [ROFL emoji] after an incident on Shelter Island, near the eastern end of Long Island, NY, when he was captured in a video (that went viral) losing his crap at a heckler who called him Fredo,” a demeaning reference to “The Godfather.”
They called me Fredo [in front of] my 9-year-old daughter, and all the media was told that and none of them reported it. I wonder why. Because it takes the sting out of me being a bully.
Karma, Fredo — and hilarious karma at that.
The Bottom Line
Whether one believes in things like karma, fate, or whatever, Chris Cuomo got exactly what he deserved, and I’d be lying if I didn’t say it’s all made even better by how much he continues to wallow in clueless self-pity. Of course, he was and remains a bully. Of course, embattled CNN became the left-wing laughingstock of news outlets. Of course, he tried to help his brother cover up his sex scandal.
And of course, Chris Cuomo remains among the least self-aware “news” anchors to ever lie on television.
