This is humiliating. But if it makes anyone else feel better, Illinois State has nothing planned at CEFCU arena in the near future but basketball games.

RE: Roof Leak at WBB Game Tonight
I am starting a GoFundMe for the roof repair. Since the university doesnt have a pot to pee it, thought this is best way. We did it for the awesome Diesel statue.

In mid 80s the rugby team had porn fundraisers. Wanda whips wallstreet was one of the movies.

Roof Leak at WBB Game Tonight
Wouldn’t it be nice (and the use of a few brain cells) to start a donation fund for the upgrade and repair of athletic facilities (such as the Convo and Huskie Stadium)? This could be a fundraising opportunity for those of us that consider this important.

RE: Roof Leak at WBB Game Tonight
Some questions (prompted by the above) ...

What is "Huskies Invest?"

And ...

1) Why have I not seen a project listed there for Huskie Stadium, or smaller included items that don't require $100 million-plus?

2) Why is there no public avenue for fans/alumni to suggest specific projects, for the Athletic Department to see what fans/alumni are willing to pay for? Why no Huskies Invest suggestion box on the list? (They can filter out any smart-a remarks.)

Wouldn't such a thing (2) alleviate the embarrassment of proposing projects for which few if any want to donate? Which end up slowly fading away over time?

Finally, is the strategy to let things degrade to the point that there is no choice but to use scarce resources?
