Definitely not an upset but Kansas State beating #2 Kansas deserves to be recognized, not as a laughable score, but as an upset. Anyone beating Kansas deserves to be recognized in the laughable scores, it would be like defeating Alabama or Georgia in football.

DePaul (just finished watching the last few minutes of the game with Xavier) is better than some on this board might think. I've watched Blue Demon basketball since the late 1970s, and this team has heart and fight in it. A .500 finish for the year is possible.

Should have stayed in the more regional MVC.

You can't blame them for going to the A-10, which is quasi-major but you can blame the A-10 for the shortsighted add of Loyola.

DePaul played great defense and earned that victory.

Concerning DePaul and Loyola, I will say it is strange you have these two Chicago schools playing in conferences with their tournament homes in NYC.

A Midwestern private school conference was tossed around for years, but it was never going to be “major” without Notre Dame and DePaul and a tourney in Chicago.

Yeah - they're not making the NCAA Tournament (outside of winning the Big East Tournament), but they're not going to be an easy matchup for anyone, either. They are looking better in Big East conference play than they did in non-conference play, whereas it has usually been the opposite for the past several years.
