Lou put JMU on the map. Being from Western NY I had never heard of JMU until the 80/81 tournament.

Went and visited shortly after and instantly fell in love with JMU Campus.

Godwin and the Convo during Lou's years - was a very special place to watch a game. TP flying for the 1st bucket gave him an instant timeout!

My prayer's for Lou and his family! He has lived an amazing life so far.

The picture shown here was a damn good team! Yes, they put Madison College on the map.

Damn, terrible news. Hard to imagine JMU sports would be anything close to what it is today without Lou. Anyone who hasn't read his book, it's an absolute must read.

That is the 1974 team. Sherman's freshman year. The year after I graduated. Lou's second year.

Really really cool w have alums from those teams here....best to Lou and condolences to family, friends, and his players

Sad news. He was back a few years ago, signing his book in the book store. I got to talk to him for quite a few minutes very personable. Not a big turn out for a man so important to JMU, which was a bit of a bummer.
