MBB @ Charleston
Thursday: Wife has the extreme good grace to have her birthday on Thursday — thus allowing for uninterrupted sports watching on the weekend.

Saturday: Tribe MBB gets a great, gritty upset win on the road against Wilmington.

Sunday: Tribe WBB gets a great, composed upset win against league leader Drexel.

Sunday: NY Giants get a great, uplifting upset win on the road against the Minnesota Vikings.

Already a GREAT sports weekend….but, wait, this is a 3-day weekend! So I’m expecting great things from the Tribe tomorrow! Will the mojo continue??

EDIT: Too bad the luck didn’t start on Friday….so I could have won that $1.3B lottery. I’m sure that I would have even given some to Tribe sports!

RE: MBB @ Charleston
I checked one website that has us as 16.5 point dogs. Charleston is a tough place to play. I'd feel good with anything within a single digit loss or a win. We need to slow them down a bit, rebound, make a reasonable number of shots and limit to's (ala UNCW)

Do we have any word on Karasinski?

In the post game videos from Saturday, Jack was on crutches. My guess is he's out tonight, but I don't know if there's any official word.

Jay asked Dane during the postgame radio show if he had any update on Jack and Dane simply replied that we don't know anything. I noticed that almost his entire leg was wrapped in an Ace bandage but that there was no evidence of ice. I could not tell from the replay but does anyone know if he banged knees with a Charleston player?

I guess that I was hoping that Dane would have said something like "but we are hoping for the best", but he didn't.

It looked like he hyperextended his knee on TV.

That was my opinion, as well. Either a hyperextended knee or a dislocated kneecap.
The way his leg was locked out straight when he came down, sent the force of the landing up through the leg to the knee.

With Wednesday's victory, Charleston is off to the best 18-game start in men's CAA Hoops history. Now ranked #18 nationally.

Does CoC have bigger dreams, like maybe a slot in the A10? Currently, they're at 15 teams.

6 total rebounds to 0.
4 offensive boards to 0.
Not a great recipe.

Got to match CofC's intensity on both ends of the court and MUST block out ACROSS the board because they are relentless crashing the offensive boards. Their 3 point % will ebb and flow and come back to earth. Robinson cannot be allowed to go to the basket where he's automatic. Otherwise, let him shoot outside all day, as his shot form is awful. If all of this isn't done at a minimum, we have no shot. They all know their roles and are good at it, collectively.

Charleston announcers are very good. Charleston moves the ball on offense better than anyone else we've seen this year.

We're losing 3 point shooters too often.
