About 3:30 central on ESPN3.

Toledo brings a 9-6 record to Dekalb and a 124 NET ranking compared to the Huskies 297.

Players of note; Sumate 6'7" 18.4 ppg, .567 fg% and 3pt 30-71 423%, Dennis 6'2"18.1 ppg, .440 fg% and 3pt 25-74 .338%, Millner 6'7" 14.8 ppg, .442 fg% and 3pt23-65 .354%, Maddox 6'2" 10 ppg, .486 fg% and 3pt 24-57 .421%. Our dear departed Cochran comes in at 9.2 ppg. They shoot the threes well, so that is a problem.

For the good guys to win we need Coit, Thornton and Nutter to play like they did against CMU and Crump to play like he did against Gonzaga.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im extremely occupied today so not watching but when I look at the shooting stats...and then look at the score...it doesn't seem like it makes sense.

I'm guessing it's the turnovers (same old same old....) because it seems like it's a disparity in shots attempted.

I say it every game, but I admire how hard this team plays hard and stays together. I hope this is a good sign for the future with Burno as coach. It is impressive.

The typical game, get on a little run, get a little excited and then don't score for several minutes with constant turnovers, air balls and missed layups. Our conversion rate on breakouts is just stunningly bad. Coit gets blocked every time he goes to the hoop. Just get fumbley and indecisive when on a runout as a team.

Around 50% on FTs

Looking at the game stats only two players did all the scoring. Coit had a horrible game.

Any update on Keyshawn Williams? Saw him in street close on the bench and standing to cheer for team at times.

RE: MBB Rockets at convo
Observations:
We won the 2nd half.
Lost by 17 points - exact number of points Toledo scored on a 17-0 run in the first half!
We have a foul problem. Toledo had 13 more points off of fouls than we did. Toledo had 28 points from free throws!!!
For the 2nd game in a row we had 3 players foul out.
Both Ibarguen and Durosinmi have fouled out in 3 of the last 4 games! Even more amazingly Durosinmi fouled out in 8 minutes of play against CMU and Ibarguen fouled out in 9 minutes of play last night!
Apparently not doing moving screen fouls is uncoachable given NIU is consistent in getting them. Both Ibar and Duro had one in the first 2 minutes. They are momentum sapping unforced turnovers.
Coit went 0-9 3pt, 2-13 FG!!! I call that net negative - when the other team is making more points off Coit's shooting than Coit is making.
Thornton and Hunter each were 5-7 on 3pters, 30 points!!! I can't say that kept us in the game because after their 17-0 run in the first half we never were in the game, but it did keep us within 20 points and gave us something to cheer about!

The moving screen fouls are just as much on the guards making their move before the big guy is set . Agree this is coachable and easily corrected in practice with the dribbler and screener

I wasn't paying attention to him last night. I would assume he still on crutches as he was Tuesday night. Out for the season.
Amos still had a boot. Russell still had a wrist cast. Don't know what is wrong with Niederhauser - sure could use a 6'10" big instead of the 6'4" Plintauskas (blue shoes) when all our bigs foul out. Have yet to figure out the value of Plintauskas.

Williams on crutches still, with a big knee brace, torn ACL, out for the year. Niederhauser seemed to be walking fine not sure what's up with him. Plintauskas looks like a deer in headlights out there

Konan sprained his ankle late in the Akron game. If he's no longer showing any sign of boot or wrap, it could mean he's getting closer to coming back. Walking normal and playing basketball are quite different.

As for Plintauskas...I haven't quite figured out his value yet as well but I do like him. He's a high motor guy who does not show signs of intimidation and, with experience and development, will become a really good role player.

The guy I'm constantly in wonder about though is Youngblood. He barely plays and when he does, he looks overwhelmed and timid.

Coit is 5'11". He is very rarely successful going directly up against 6'10" bigs. He does have one smooth move instead of laying it up directly where it WILL be swatted down he jukes the offense and hangs on to the ball as he glides underneath the rim and throw it up for a reversal. One of his 2 FG's last night was that - it is sweet looking, but how many times can you fake the offense out with that?

On the TV broadcast, Andy Garcia said that K. Williams is officially "out indefinitely". The injuries to our top players in football and men's hoops this year is beyond belief. Here's hoping the pendulum switches back to healthly for next season for both squads.
