Everyone talks about IU shooting 15 for 19 from three-point range in that game but no one ever seems to remember Trevor Huffman only took seven shots that night. He, Mitchell and Shaw were a combined 11-31 from the field.

I almost always win this bar bet: How many points (combined total) did Trevor Huffman score in his last game as a freshman-soph-Jr-Sr.

It's amazing.

Although in fairness it must be noted he played w/a very bad ankle injury as a freshman.

Also vs. Temple-Penn State-Cincinnati-Indiana

(And this is not to denigrate Trevor ... just a weird stat for such an accomplished player).

OK ... since so many folks are interested I'll answer my own question.

vs. Temple (NCAA) - 0 pts. .... (only played seven minutes w/bum ankle).

vs. Penn State (NIT) -- 2 pts. ... (only took 5 shots and was 0-4 from the line ... don't think TH ever missed 4 FTs in a game, much less and o-fer)

vs. Cincinnati (NCAA) -- 7 pts. ... (Huggy really put the physical clamps on TH after TH scorched Indiana with multiple big shots in opening game vs. Indiana.)

vs. Indiana (NCAA) 8 pts. ... (As mentioned an off night for TH who had actually been offensively carrying Kent's backcourt all tournament. While Andrew Mitchell was a defensive force, he had lost his jumper going all the way back to the MAC Tournament. Even with that, had Indiana just shot 50-percent on 3s in that game, Kent would have won!!!

Total ...17 points.
