Byington will certainly be emotional playing his former team, but not as much as the road trip to Statesboro. You can see how fast things change when looking at their roster. He only coached one of the guys that are on the current team and that guy was a redshirt in Byington’s last year.

Is coach going to allow another slow paced half court game that exposes JMU’s warts on offense?

Somehow the Dukes need to grasp a win and put the first third of the conference schedule out of their mind.

You’d have to think JMU has the advantage playing at home, but last week’s games looked like home court disadvantage with the way they played.

This is the second half of a women's - men's doubleheader. One ticket gets you into both games. Come early and watch the women who are playing veryyyyyyyy well right now.

I plan to stay for at least the first half of the men's game. I have not seen them play in person this year so I want to see if in person is any different than watching it on ESPN+. Should be a fun afternoon/evening.

I have little to no confidence in the men's team at this point....so that means they will probably somehow win this game to provide a glimmer of hope.

Interesting that JMU is a 9 pt favorite after 3 consecutive bad losses.
Does anyone know where the Basketball coach press conferences and post games are posted? I can’t find one more recent than Dec 18th.
There are plenty posted for the women’s team, but nothing for Byington.

Definitely an inflection point game. We need not only to win, but win the right way.

I had avoided looking at the standings since the skid began. I just decided to take a peak to see how bad the damage was. Interesting to see Georgia Southern tied with Troy for best conference record at 4-1. Hoping things start to click for the team tonight.

Thinking back on when they gave up 107 to a really bad Coppin State team at the end of December…maybe I should say that was a huge red flag warning about this team

Side note - is that Andrey Semenov back to play for Ga Southern now. He has gained a little weight.

Another half where the ball moved better as soon as brown got in the game. There is a big part of me that thinks we should hand the reins over to him and hope he grows into the role by tournament time. There would be ups and downs along the way, but i get the feeling that noah and the bigs would be in favor of it.
