Imagine if we had Crooms this season especially.

WMU QBs > Minnesota QBs...Crooms likely could have gotten drafted into the NFL had he stayed at WMU. Now he is going to have to rely on being signed as an UFA.

The grass isn't always greener.

They aren’t lighting the world on fire (I don’t think anyone expected that) but I wouldn’t necessarily say disappointing. Tyler and Crooms have the 2nd most rushing and receiving yardage on Minnesota’s roster, respectively. Crooms is pretty close in leading the team.

If we’re being honest, all of our WRs drafted in the post-Jennings era have underwhelmed relative to their draft pick.

To be fair, injury issues plagued some of them. That's a killer if you are trying to make an impression and get into the league.

Bad enough that PJ is playing a true freshman at RB over a 3 year starter in Tyler.

I agree, crooms would have been a nice weapon to have this year.
