NIU gives up a lob layup with 1.6 left to lose 72-71. They had made 2 foul shots with 17 seconds left to take the lead.

Our Huskies now 12-11 4-8 being down by two at halftime end up losing to Ohio 5-18 and 3-9. Ohio scores with 1.6 to go to take a 1 point lead and Northern misses a short shot at the end. Next up at first place Bowling Green Wednesday night.

WBB now has 6 conference game’s remaining and at 4-8 we are tied with Miami and Buffalo for 8th-9th and 10th for the last remaining spot for the MACT. My guess is we play well enough to get in the tourney and then we’ll see what happens. Doesn’t seem like it should be that hard to finish in the top 8 but I thought my White Sox were gonna be good in 2022 so what do I know.
