I really don’t get it… The stretches where the team has looked the best all season to me has been when we work it down to the post first And then work the ball inside out or around the perimeter from there.

The first half against toledo, the parts of the game against WVU where we were successful, and the first half against FAU all come to mind.

We don’t look good when jelly is just dribbling the ball around and jacking up contest of threes, or gains is driving wildly to the hole without a purpose.

RE: “Winning Time”
The offense lost its flow down the stretch when we had to go to work on the clock. I’d like to know what that last play was drawn up to be. The Gaines three at the end of regulation is one I fully expected. Was hoping to see an LA corner three but there ya go.

Absolutely brutal January for the Blazers. If they don’t have an emotional meltdown they’ll grow here and continue to get good close game experience for the tournament. Not much difference between finishing 2 and 3.

Next up: the team I hate to watch us play the most.

RE: “Winning Time”
We lost a LOT of these kind of games under Kennedy. I haven’t gone back to look at the record or trend, but it’s a clear, recurring thing.

RE: “Winning Time”
That stretch last year in January where we lost 5/6 (including three straight by one possession) was brutality. All else being equal, I’d love to have that out of our system early.

RE: “Winning Time”
You don’t get respect for losing closely. Running out of opportunities. 0-2 start in the 5 bracket buster games we have. Can’t afford to lose to Maryland, Drake, or Furman now. Otherwise, you’ll be on the outside, looking in for the NIT as well.

I'm afraid you're right. Moral victories are found in the L column.
