You are suggesting the the author of the tweet (who happens to be married to a prominent BLACK REPUBLICAN) can safely assume that a black person in general is strongly Democrat? Pardon me if I don't follow that logic even a little bit.
Yes, one can assume that in general, which is to say, statistically. Obviously, her spouse, in particular, is not a Democrat.
The large majority of black voters are Democrat. Surely that's a priori and common knowledge?
Um... yes... but it is still a bit much to call out "any" black person as being a leftist. For one thing, do you think it's possible that the demographics of people who follow Ms. Daniels on Twitter may not follow the overall demographics of the country? Perhaps it skews towards a higher percentage of Republicans? Black Republicans even?
You're perhaps unintentionally moving the goal posts around. First you talk about 'black person in general' and then you get much more granular.
I think it obvious... and UNUSUALLY so... that black people are STRONGLY in the pocket of the left. High 80% or higher, depending on whom you ask. No other single characteristic demographic you can probably think of, including I suspect evangelical Christians skews that strongly, in small part because some evangelical Christians are black.... and given the history of the party and how long its been going on, that is even MORE wierd to me.
Yes, just like there are some 'antagonists' who follow Trump or what have you, I suspect that most who would have an issue with what she says aren't supporters of her positions in general. You seem to feel that the only people who reply on her page would have to be fans?? If that's what you think, you probably haven't spent a lot of time reading the comments on ANYONE like her's page.

Exactly. That's what some on this thread seem to be suggesting. I was going to bring that up myself.
"If you aren't voting Democrat you aren't black!". Weird. I thought we all hated that quote.
Just because we all hate something doesn't mean we hate it for the same reasons. Some people hate the 24 week abortion limit because its too late, some because its too early.
In that quote, to me anyway, Joe Biden is presuming the support of the ENTIRE black community... which of course 'insults' (choose your adjective, I don't mean it stringly... dismisses??) black people who DON'T support him, and also dismisses those who do as if they are 'in the bag' and he doesn't have to listen to them. Of course there is some projection in there as there always will be, but I think we can all agree that it is in some way, dismissive.
Just because we hate the quote doesn't mean that it isn't GENERALLY true. If you're black, the odds are STRONGLY in favor of you supporting Democrats, not Republicans... and not 60/40 or even 80/20 strong... but closer to 90/10.
Do you not find it unusual, given the way Asian Americans were treated in this country, not meaningfully indifferent from the way blacks were prior to say 1900, and then how much WORSE they were treated BY THE GOVERNMENT, much less individuals during WWII (many of them being illegally incarcerated, having assets lost stolen or looted, dying etc etc) and yet quite literally nobody of any stature in the Democratic party, including those in California (where many Asians were indentured servants) who are pushing for reparations for black persons, are similarly pushing for reparations for Asians?? Could that have anything to do with it? Either a reason why so many blacks support Democrats, or because Asians don't skew so hard left, a reason why its not a priority for the party? Even in California? How about Hispanics? Some of whom are STILL essentially indentured servants
