Taylor's "concussion protocol" goes back to at least Dec. 30, which by tomorrow will be 13 days. That's quite a long time for a concussion protocol incident. Just sayin'.......

Concussions are really weird. I know of someone who couldn't pass after two months.

Doc, as a doc, you should know that those protocols are dependent on the players symptoms and not just time alone.

Of course - and I almost added a note to make sure nobody "overinterpretted" my comment. But maybe somebody did.. Every concussion requires its own watch and careful evaluation. This must have been what's known as a stage 2 or stage 3 concussion. They may even have done a CT. All I was saying is that he must have really gotten his bell rung, however it happened.

We need to go with an 8 man rotation going forward.

King, Strothers (not a fan of, but no depth), Tipler, Smith, Seymour, Haynes, Taylor, and Jancek. Wouldn't play anyone else!

Yes those are the eight going forward that should be playing. Barring injuries we should be better with them. Let us think if our coaches had signed one less marginal freshman and brought in an experienced, transfer point guard. How much better would we be?

This regular season should be all about preparing for the tournament. As long as they work hard and show progress in practice, I would find time for Ilic and Gregory.

Coach Oliver did very well bringing in big men for this season. But, I say again, you don't win championships without great guard play. Every year, the first priority in recruiting should be a great guard. After that, the second priority should be another great guard. Looking at our early signees, Coach Oliver either doesn't agree or hasn't taken that message to heart.

Yes, or even if Yasser stayed how much he would've helped!

Who knows for sure, but I think due to his emphasis on transition offense Oliver did not properly prioritize a true PG. Now we have one of the worst offenses in D1, I wager, in terms of output and efficiency. The guards absolutely do not know what to do in a half court offense. And what do you expect, they are undersized 2 guards (King, Tipler, Strothers) and 1 wing (Smith).

I think that we will win this one with our depth back. It's a pretty sad thing to think a game with The Citadel would be one we can only HOPE to win.

I found it but it says "The event has not yet started".
