Last week he got sacked by JJ watts but won the game
This week he beat Brady

Not bad.

RE: Ridder
I'm really happy for him and wish him much continued success.

Part of being a big-time college football program is the thrill of seeing players move on to the NFL for more than just a cup of coffee. The Kelce brothers are well on their way to all-time great status; Sauce is showing great promise in that regard too. For UC, it helps build and sustain the program being able to point to players such as these. And when Travis Kelce gives back to UC as he did recently, it sets a great example for other athletes who valued their experience in Clifton.

Des is coming along. Thought he was real shaky first game and has looked better with each new game since. Struggles early in almost every game and has found his stride around mid-game.

RE: Ridder
If you ignore his first game:

Des had a 67.4% completion percentage. That's 6th among QBs with at least 100 pass attempts in 2022.

In adjusted yards per pass attempt (which gives 20 extra yards per TD and subtracts 45 yards per interception), he's 14th among the 47 QBs with at least 100 pass attempts. That's about the level of Trevor Lawrence.

Granted, that's only 3 games, and it ignores his first game. But to this armchair quarterback, it sounds very promising for a rookie QB.

RE: Ridder
Opinion may be inflated by simply looking at the stats, as his final game was mostly against backups for Tampa, but he is very clearly getting comfortable and has shown enough to be considered an option for Atlanta moving forward another year IMO.

RE: Ridder
He's really in the ideal situation with Atlanta's run heavy offense. The RB's had 100+yards rushing in every game he's started. That really takes the pressure off a young QB. Kenny Pickett has that same luxury.
