Not a bad showing for NIU-Bowling Green. Wonder where the league ranks for WBB.

Lady Huskies were 92 before the Lindenwood game and probably did not move up as lindenwood was 346.

RE: WBB Toledo here 1 p.m. > NIU WINS
The women are fun to watch. If we had a decent crowd at the games, the Convo would be rocking. It sure was exciting last Saturday. Next Saturday's game is a doubleheader, with the women playing Ohio and the men playing Toledo. I will probably go to the women's game and skip the men's because it's tough for my wife to sit through 2 games. Those seats in the Convo do not help fans with back problems.

WBB Toledo here 1 p.m. > NIU WINS

Almost too easy to predict after last Saturday’s exciting win. The ladies have not been shooting great. This Saturday’s game against Ohio should be a win, but those are the games that will give the Huskies trouble.

RE: WBB Toledo here 1 p.m. > NIU WINS
Would it be fair to say our ladies have played 1 good quarter of basketball since conference games started? We open conference play losing to a Central Michigan team (1-2 3-11) followed by getting beat by 17 at home to Toledo after 3 quarters 52-35 to rally in the 4 th and win followed tonight by a loss at Western Michigan (1-2 6-8). Things should improve for Saturday as we host Ohio who is 2-12 0-3.

RE: WBB Toledo here 1 p.m. > NIU WINS
Agree. WMU lost to Toledo by 18 at Toledo, did better against Ball State (6-pt loss) at home, and hosted this game at 5-8/0-2 (before this win. So they did what NIU did vs. Toledo ... turned it around after multiple losses. Best place to do that is at home. (Also ... oops ... final was 79-70 ... my bad).
Lack of consistency of play seems to indicate NIU is middle-of-the-pack, which means these games can easily go either way. (I wonder if a problem, if it is, is inconsistent game planning. Sometimes too much changing around game-to-game lets the opponent dictate, and makes it harder to develop a consistent, winning style).
Despite a winning record, this seems to be a slightly-better-than .500 team so far. If I had to, I'd say the best will be a WNIT bid.

With 14 games played, and 15 left, ya think it's time?
Still fun to watch, either in-person or tv.
And someone needs to start a new thread for the Ohio game (somebody else?). This one is getting old.
