There have been 15 OVC Conference games played going into today and the home teams are 13-2. Yes this Little Rock team has one of the losses. They lost Thursday at home to Lindenwood after having a 21 point first half lead. We should win this one if Russell can keep his mouth shut and just put up his usual 20 points. BUT, It's hard to win on the road in conference play.

Is Smart out? Not that he has been a major difference maker. Just curious as he hasn't played yet.

Anyone heard about Coach Pickens? He hasn't been on the bench the last 2 games. Is he sick too?

Nice road win.

It wasn't pretty but it's big to close out games like that. And what a game by Branson.

And I don't know about everyone else, but I'm happy with this addition to the league.

Pickens had surgery. I don't know for what.

I noticed that too. On at least one occasion he was mugged several times and you could tell he wanted to say something but held his tongue. Give credit to him for not hurting his team and letting it go.

In addition, it seemed like the other guys were quick to get over there in case he started to do something stupid. Hey, whatever it takes.

Meanwhile, the women's team couldn't set a screen for anything

Happy to be in the OVC. I thought ya'll would treat us "nicer". Losing 2 home games, this early, is not the way we wanted to start life in the OVC.

Welcome to the forum. It's always good to win a road game in conference play because they're hard to come by.

Great road win. Emotions were held in check and though the shooting % was sub par, the defense was pretty consistent the majority of the game. Looking forward to going Thursday night and seeing if they can build on the victory vs Lindenwood. Would be nice to get a good crowd in attendance

I can't think of anything the women's team CAN do very well. That freshman Doyle looks to be a keeper though, but she needs alot of help next year. Hopefully Coach Patterson wil find some players in the transfer portal.
