Matt Brown wrote about the Summit League's new broadcast deal.

I realize it's different than the CAA's deal with FloSports, but in a lot of ways it isn't. Like the CAA, the Summit League lives outside the ESPN ecosystem and puts more games on regional linear TV.

I like their deal. Reasonably priced service with a good regional brand that people in their area already use for other sports.

Seems like they will be taking advantage of the linear local option as well.

This is exactly the sort of deal that I suggested that the CAA should try to go with. The only issue now is that cable television is struggling due to cord cutting and so many RSN's are in financial trouble. You still need a streaming alternative because you can't get ALL sporting events on linear TV like the CAA does with Flo. Seems like the SL has that.

At this point, we just have to accept the fact that Flo isn't going anywhere. If you're a CAA fan who likes to watch your favorite CAA basketball team on TV, then you'll sign up for Flo. If you're trying to boycott like some of us are and save $12.50/month, then you're just being cheap.

Bingo...

No doubt, it is what it is. But no one has to be happy about it.

RE: Flo
How to Watch on FloCollege
Outlined below is the FloSports subscription rate information for the 2025-26 season.

Everyone should continue to be directed to flosports.tv/caa (https://go.flocollege.com/partner/caa) or flosports.link/46CLFCx which is on our schedule pages for events to be streamed. These two links will send people to the subscription page.

Below are three options:
The monthly subscription rate for customers with a valid .edu e-mail address will remain at $9.99 per month a-la-carte or $71.88 per year ($5.99/month) if they sign-up for an annual subscription.
The discounted "Annual Subscription Rate" for non-.edu subscribers will be $107.88 ($8.99/month)
The a-la-carte month-to-month subscription rate for non-.edu subscribers will be $19.99 per month

RE: Flo
Seems as if Flo has a partnership with Amazon Prime, wonder if CAA games will appear there too.

https://usasouth.net/news/2026/6/25/gene...LrTL88fFGg

Select live events and programming will be available to fans with expanded distribution across FloSports’ growing network of free streaming channels on Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and FloCollege’s many social channels.

My guess is whatever free stuff they put on YouTube will be available on Amazon Prime as well.

Thanks for pointing that out. If true, that will improve access to Flo.
