Bill Self got 4 games. In basketball. Harbaugh might be told to show up late at halftime for the opener vs. ECU.

We'll see what happens, but how do those conversations go?

"We must interrupt you handing out million-dollar signing bonuses to 18-year-olds who aren't academically qualified to attend your institution. Our investigation shows you sent that extra text, and you watched that Zoom video, and that sinister extra guy watched practice. We must look out fir the best interest of these impressional and inexperienced young men!"

Sadly…that’s just about right I think.

Pretty much. Basically the NCAA is investigating a Level 1 violation because they didn't like his answers to their questions about potential Level 2 violations. Maybe there's something to this, maybe not, none of us can possibly know. That said, the sources who actually know what they're talking about (John U Bacon is a great example) are saying that Harbaugh isn't seeking to leave this time around, but if the NFL pursued him and he was offered a job (no matter the salary) he'd go for no other reason than he's tired of the NCAA's bs.

So if universities no longer operate in loco parentis for students (struck down in court), and colleges can no longer be punished for students taking booster money (struck down in court), could not an incoming recruit take down these NCAA rules by more lawsuits? End up at a college where you can't play in bowl games because of violations? Well, I hear the 17th Amendment has a strong case for the unconstitutionality of dead periods in college recruiting.

There's a reason the NCAA is hiring a politician to replace Emmert.

They self reported violations like buying burgers for recruits that showed up unannounced during Covid. Meanwhile schools that worked with agents to pay recruits bank (when it was still against the rules) got a slap on the wrist. The NCAA is a joke at this point.

Coach Jim being dishonest and hiding info sounds a lot like their AD and the old hockey coach. Bo knew too. They have many internal problems
