RE: MBB vs. La Tech
Evee with another big 3 after a good defensive play by Fiedler on the other end. 81-80 Tech with 41 seconds left. Gives us a 2-for-1 also.

Olivari gives away a really cheap and-1. Either blast the guy or let him lay it in. Three-point play there is the worst case scenario. 84-80 Tech with 21 seconds left.

RE: MBB vs. La Tech
Haha amazing. Tech misses the front end of a one-and-one and gets the OREB. Inexcusable.

Then Tech misses another front end. This time we grab the rebound and Tech fouls Olivari on a drive. Olivari makes 1 of 2. Second big FT miss of the last 30 seconds. La Tech back to the line up 84-82. 9 seconds left.

RE: MBB vs. La Tech
No more gifts. Tech wins 88-82. I think this is a much worse loss than the women's. Tech ends up shooting 52/40/67. We had every opportunity to win the game in regulation. Scored only 29 points in the 2nd half, 7 of which were in the first 2:44. Have to give credit to Tech's coaching staff, which came up with a gameplan that really limited our effectiveness. But this isn't UAB or FAU or UNT. If you want people to take you seriously, you need to win these games at home.

Low-key offensive games from Sheffield and Mason. Both had a couple good plays but missed shots when we needed makes. Evee had the two huge 3s. Good to see him bounce back from the UTEP game. But in a perfect world, he has more assists in a game where Tech seemed open to leaving their bigs on an island against him. Olivari was up and down. We need his ups but his downs are hard to miss. A few too many forces tonight. Almost looks to be playing with too much confidence. I thought Huseinovic and Lieppert both gave us good minutes.

RE: MBB vs. La Tech
Give credit to La Tech for making the plays when they had to. This conference is good - we're not going to be able to win when we don't have our A game.

We need to extend the bench though - we're not going to be able to win many games with just 8 players. There are guys 9-11 on the rotation who are good enough to give us a few minutes.
