Georgia Tech 76
Miami 70

and

Georgia 76
Auburn 64 (sorry JRSec)

Good day for the state of Georgia. Although I'm sure most people in the Peach state care more about a certain game next Monday...

Now in Raleigh it isn't that big of an upset but 24 points is a statement.

I watched some of this game. Duke ... ?

UConn lost on the road to two very good teams (Xavier and Providence). Nothing to be ashamed of.

Yeah, I take it as “business as usual” in the Big East. But, not dissimilar to what happens in the Big Ten when “the mighty” fall. Provy was already a top 50 NET team going into the bout. They rose 13 spots, though, for the win.

With our loss to Villanova last night, the Hoyas have now lost 25 straight regular season Big East games, breaking a tie with Depaul for the conference record.

We've now also lost 25 straight Big East games (season and tournament) overall - our last win, ironically, was in the finals of the 2021 Big East tournament to claim that title.

This is beyond-words embarrassing. Patrick Ewing has been my favorite basketball player for 40 years and always will be, but as a coach he has been an abject failure and should have been released last year. Never should have been hired, really.

Duke didn't even score until 7:30 into the game.

Who else is following the Owls of FAU's mighty ascension in the venerable NET rankings?

Currently nesting at #11 in the infallible NET rankings!!

Long live the NET as the end-all be-all in determining strength in college hoops!!!

Rutgers is #13 in Sagarin.

I don't think you can really call that laughable. It's a lot different than last year's upset, which occurred right after Rutgers had lost at least 3 really ridiculous OOC games. (But somehow beat #1 Purdue, later beat 5 straight ranked teams in February, and thus made the NCAA tournament.)

Lol. What's been DePaul's longest losing streak in the Big East? Have even they ever lost 25 straight?

None of that changes the fact they may have peaked too soon. They went from winning every game by double digits to losing games by double digits.

15. Indiana falls to Iowa 91-89. Blew a 21-point lead.

Gonzaga down 30-24 to San Francisco with less than 8 minutes left.

San Francisco would have an at-large case if they win this and don't lose except maybe 1-2 more games. A true Jekyll and Hyde team.

Very true. They lost at home to a horrible Texas-Arlington team who whose NET was about 320 at the time. Very strange team at USF.

San Francisco ahead 71-65 with 4:12 left. They've committed 16 turnovers compared to Gonzaga's 6 yet still lead.

Gonzaga trails virtually all game yet wins. It's the antithesis of the Adam Morrison UCLA game.

They had no business winning that game. BYU was not so lucky. They lost to LMU on the road, 64-59. UCLA blew an 18-point halftime lead and hung on to beat USC, 60-58. Arizona had to come from behind in Tucson to beat Washington, 70-67. Lots of close games tonight out west.

I hope the rest of the Zags bought Rasir Bolton dinner, because he refused to let them lose last night.

As a Hoosier fan, I'm actually pleased Indiana — without its senior point guard Xavier Johnson — played competitively on the road against a quality Iowa team.

Having said that, missing Johnson (which is a major blow because IU seemingly has no other dependable true PG on the roster) is no excuse to blow a big lead.
