My condolences to the Bartow family

Sad sad day.....

Ruth Bartow was a such a wonderful woman.

Yes, this is sad, but it is also a relief for all involved. Mrs. Bartow has not been well for a while, since her stroke a year or so ago, and the last month has been very difficult for the family. She is finally home.

sad, but it's assured that she is at peace and in paradise and reunited with coach...

We are saddened to hear about that. She was a great lady, a good friend, and a terrific life partner for Gene.

I imagine the life of a coach’s wife is not an easy one, especially the two years she was in LA. But she was fortunate Gene found happiness and a home in Birmingham.

Condolences to her family and all those on here that knew her. I imagine the next game will be very emotional for Kennedy.
