Didn’t DREW SVOBODA agree to be our STC 2 seasons ago, before being picked off by Alabama? Just saw he agreed to join UNT in this roll. Would like to think CRS could hire high, unless he feels jilted for how he bolted on us. Would be surprised if he preferred UNT over UofM.

You think RS can pull a Texas guy away from Texas when he just took a job to get back into Texas?

After some of those boneheaded plays the Alabama punt teams made in the Iron Bowl I'm sure Saban told that guy to hit the bricks. I think RS should be able to find a competent ST coach elsewhere.

Plus UNT has money and the TX recruiting market. Not a bad interim stop.

Yeah, coaches don't voluntarily leave Bama to go to a program like UNT.
Once the season is over, staff meetings occur.
Once staff meetings are over, some coaches are moved along.
If Memphis wanted to hire him, I imagine they could have worked something out just as well as UNT did.
But would you really want the guy who left you before even renting an apartment?
