December 30 Bowl Thread
Maryland vs NC State in an hour. Betting line even.

UCLA-9 vs Pitt

Notre Dame -3.5 vs South Carolina

Ohio -2.5 vs Wyoming

Clemson -6 vs Tennessee

I think UCLA is favored by a bit too much, and Clemson is favored by way too much. The other lines seem about right.

Pitt just coughed it up against UCLA. Still time for a FG tho.

Pitt comes down and kicks a 40 yarder into the wind to go back up and likely win the game. 4 seconds left on the clock.

Hard to tell who will be in the bottom half of the top 25. So far 18 (to #35), 21 (to #12), 22 (to #23) and 26-29 have all lost. 12, 13, 15, 17, 23 and 25 have won.

Pitt should send a thank you card to UTEP's basketball coach.

That was a great finish in the Pitt-UCLA game. 40 years from now Pitt old timers will tell their grand kids about Nick Patti.

Fresno probably takes one of the last spots. Wouldn't be shocked to see Pitt slide in as well.

Yeah.

It was thrilling for 50 minutes, but it seemed like it was about time to turn off the game.

Then, Holy ****! A 100 yard pick six!

I was ready to “mission creep” off of NDs big win, but now I’m having second thoughts.

Honestly South Carolina is lucky to still be in this, Notre Dame's offense has dominated the Gamecocks in the 2nd half. That pick 6 saved them for a minute or at least it seemed. Now the Domers are putting together a soul sucking drive. USC has got to hold them to a field goal here.

RE: December 30 Bowl Thread
So how much did Notre Dame pay the officials?

Several phantom penalties on that last S. Carolina drive.
Really awful. Never seen anything like that on one final drive.
Don't know if the Gamecocks would score, but the refs did their best to make sure they didn't.

Yeah that ND player knew exactly what he was doing, but that's football, it happens all the time.

Well after the disastrous 0-2 start for the Irish they still finish the year at 9-4 with a likely top 20 ranking. Solid first year job by the new HC.
