Exclamation Bowl Thread: December 30
Third biggest bowl day today (behind CFP SF and January 2)?

Highlight is the Orange Bowl (literally!) with Clemson and Tennessee.

We also have Notre Dame vs. South Carolina and Spencer Rattler in the afternoon.

Earlier on, the games might not be good but you can watch two head coaches get dunked in something other than water! I can live with cereal being dumped on me but mayonnaise is disgusting!

Well, I'm looking forward to the first game, the Mayo Bowl, as that pits two old ACC rivals, NC State and Maryland, and in ACC territory. Spicy, IMO, even though both teams have suffered a ton of opt-outs (transfer portal, guys sitting out for the draft, etc.).

Also early, we get the Sun Bowl, always IMO fun because it is a venerable old bowl in a great stadium. Pitt vs UCLA is a nice intersectional matchup too. Pitt though has suffered a ton of optouts.

FWIW, I'm not so keen on the Orange Bowl. Tennessee is IMO not the same team without their injured star QB. Clemson should roll easily in that game, IMO. We'll see.

ND vs SC is a fascinating matchup, IMO. Not sure they have ever played? And its the Gator Bowl.

Overall, it should be a great day of football!

It's actually the 5th meeting, but the first since 1984. 1984 was a Gamecock victory in South Bend during our only non-Spurrier 10 win season, while Notre Dame won the first three games.
