Just let everyone cheat I never got why it matters. Life isn’t fair and wasn’t meant to be

Brain fart, I meant student athletes, but you get my meaning.

$100 handshakes to the key players

This has been my view for years. Make it all legal including the $100 handshakes.

I wonder what percentage of players that entered the portal last year actually got scholarships at other schools. I imagine that the vast majority had to step down a level IF they were even signed at all.

Yeah the way it is now with both NIL and the portal is pro ball but with no salary cap, no max salaries and 100% of rosters are unrestricted free agents.

Exactly. It's the wild, wild West. Whoever let the game get to this point has ruined it and imo it's not fixable. Try to go back and add some controls and the law suits will fly.

Can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. There is no way 4o prevent tampering with another schools good players. Why the fukk would you take a chance on most unproven HS players when you can just go get a player you have seen perform at the college level.

9 out of 10 kids will just enter the transfer portal and accept the biggest offer.

Its going to get worse every year until the top 20-30 programs decide something has to be done to bring back some sanity.

NCAA can't impose anything. G5 are powerless and just road kill.

Hell, the lower half of the P5 are just farm teams for upper half as well but at least they can turn around and fukk the G5.

G5 are nothing but the $20 street walkers now.

Here's an article from April 2022 that looked at that.

Eventually someone in DC is going to realize, hey these schools are crossing state lines so that makes it interstate commerce and maybe we should regulate it.

They already regulate parts of it using Title IX.
