Great football season EMU
Glad to see EMU dominate in the bowl and make a splash on the national level. The Eagles are going to get even better. Hope the Broncos can recover from losing Lester and having key players leave. However, our new coach will get things going but it will take time.

Happy New Year to you all.

I met a young man use to play for EMU back (back in, I can believe I'm saying that) in 2013 last name of Will anyone know anything about him? Football was doing something in the dome and he needed to get in. I told him how. So I checked the roster his name is Bronson Hill running back. Any ideas why he would he here on a holiday?

Maybe he’s training for the USFL? He was in the NFL for a few seasons. Hell of a player. Had one of the best performances I’ve ever seen at home against Toledo.

Dan, Top Five for sure! Harkema arguably had three better seasons but that was it. Of course, the fossils like Ken Barna and I could also point out one season for Chlebek and many for Boisture, but please ignore us. We are just really old guys with dementia.

I mean Rynearson put together some pretty solid seasons where the team went undefeated

This worthless ranking has us 17 spots behind Arizona state. I think not.

The problem comparing a Pac-12 and MAC team is apples and oranges.

ASU beat #21 ranked Washington and Colorado (plus No. Az). They played SIX nationally ranked teams. Us, none.

When ASU played us they seemed determined to get their HC fired.

This discussion seems parallel to our discussion on WBB. How to judge soft schedules (us) vs. a team playing a very difficult schedule.

Great share!

Steve, I don't see Jose achieving the same level of success that Maxx did in the NFL for the reasons described in the scouting report.

Jose is the college baseball pitcher with a low 90 mph fastball and a good breaking ball.
Thus, in the NCAA, he was very effective. Maxx was the pitcher with only the 100-mph fastball. Guess who goes to the show.

Before I diminish Maxx as only a lightning-fast pass rusher, his motor is just incredible.

I agree he doesn't comp out to a Maxx, but he will likely be a late 3rd rounder or 4th rounder. I think he's a guy that could stay in the league for a while High character, high motor with ability. Hell, Pat O Connor stuck around with less talent.

Well stated Steve.
