Wtf.
Don't shoot the messenger. I'm not the one making the halo plan. That is the plan the city is backing.

This is incredible.

OOC - Good
No OOC - Bad

That is the extent of your understanding of what is going on. Do you honestly think you will have to go OUTSIDE of the stadium to buy nachos, hot dogs, beer, etc?
No. But buying hot dogs and beer is not a new amenity. We already have that.

The new amenities will be a sound stage, shipping crate tailgate areas, food trucks, souvenir concessions, and various commercial vendors all set up outside in the halo. Most of the "NEW" things, things we don't have now, will be in the halo. That is the way this is being designed.

Inside the stadium you'll have improved places to sit, piss, and buy beer. Better TV's and scoreboards. We already have all of that. It will just be improved.

Food trucks don’t cost anything.

HA! That's not the way the city does business... Yes, they will.

And on a serious note, the infrastructure needed to power and plumb the food trucks may or may not be provided. That can be pretty expensive.

What kind of food trucks are you seeing? The ones I see are self-contained and not dependent on external services. That's kind of the point of having a mobile food truck.

Food trucks can operate independently, but they can also hook up to city water and electricity (and gas sometimes) like an RV you can take to a camp site and use the hook-ups.

Yes, the simplest thing would be for them to provide parking for the Food Trucks, and that's the end of it. MY point was that is not how the city typically operates, and that they generally do the most complicated thing because.... you know.... gubermn't.

FOR THE RECORD ON THE BOARD - I like the food truck idea and think it is a positive improvement for the stadium. There. Claw not complaining about the stadium. Mark it down.
